• 1 lb fettuccine

• 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts

• 3 cloves garlic, minced

• 3 tablespoons butter

• 1 cup chicken broth

• 1/2 cup heavy cream

• 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

• 1/4 teaspoon salt

• 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

• 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

• 2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add fettuccine and cook until al dente, 8 to 10 minutes. 
  2. Meanwhile, in a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Add chicken and garlic and cook until chicken is cooked through, about 8 minutes, flipping once. 
  3. Add chicken broth, cream, Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer and cook until sauce is thickened and creamy, about 5 minutes. 
  4. Drain fettuccine and add to skillet with chicken and sauce. Toss to combine. 
  5. Serve fettuccine Alfredo with a sprinkle of fresh parsley and basil.
