  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 pound Italian sausage, casings removed
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups bone broth

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the sausage and onion to the skillet. Cook and stir until sausage is browned and onion is softened, about 8 minutes.
  4. Add garlic, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Cook and stir for 1 minute.
  5. Pour in the bone broth and bring to a simmer. Simmer until most of the liquid has evaporated, about 8 minutes.
  6. Place the sausage mixture on a prepared pizza crust.
  7. Top with desired pizza toppings and bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until pizza is golden.
  8. Slice and serve.
